All vendor merchandise should be fiber or fiber arts related.  Management reserves the right to determine vendor eligibility.  Vendor shall provide a brief description of products intended to be sold or displayed at the Mid-Ohio Fiber Fair (MOFF) in order to determine eligibility.  Acceptance is at the sole discretion of the MOFF management.

If, for any reason whatsoever, it becomes impossible to hold the MOFF, this agreement is terminated and the vendor waives any and all claims for damages.  If it becomes necessary for vendor to cancel and vendor notifies MOFF immediately, every attempt at reselling vendor’s space will be made.  If resale is successful, vendor’s booth fee, less a 20% processing charge, will be refunded.  Otherwise, booth fees are returned only if vendor is not accepted or MOFF is cancelled.

Set up will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2013.  Show hours are Saturday, August 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, August 18 from 10 a.m. to
3 p.m.  There will be no early departures.  Violators will be restricted from participating in future MOFF shows.

Vendors are asked to donate one item to be used in baskets that will be raffled off to the public to benefit local food pantries.  Donations will be collected during set up on Friday.  Vendor donations will be acknowledged with listings on the basket display table.

A Saturday evening vendor get together dinner will be offered at a local restaurant.  Room will be provided, dinner costs will be responsibility of vendor.

All items in vendor’s booth must be priced on the item or with signage.

Vendor’s name and booth number must be displayed at all times.

Product displays need to stay within the confines of the booth space rented.  Under no circumstances should they extend into the aisles or encroach upon neighboring booth spaces.

Nothing shall be posted on, taped, tacked, screwed, or otherwise attached to any part of the building, walls, floors, or furniture.  Vendors are liable for any damage caused to the building, walls, floors, or furniture, or to other Vendors’ properties which occur through acts of omission of the Vendor, their agents, sub-contractors, or employees.

Vendors will police their booth area and leave it clean at the end of the show.

Please provide proof of liability insurance with this application if vendor carries such insurance.

Vendors offering retail merchandise for sale are responsible for ensuring they are in possession of required documentations (i.e. vendor licenses).

Campus security patrols on a regular basis and the building will be locked after hours.  However, MOFF management will not be liable for damage, loss, or any other destruction of exhibits or products.  Vendor leases exhibit space at their own risk.  Insurance for vendor and products are the vendor’s own responsibility.

Limited unloading areas are located next to the Reese Center.  Vehicles are to be unloaded/loaded in a timely fashion.  If Vendor’s vehicle is left unattended more than 10 minutes in the loading zones, Vendor will be asked to move it to make room for other Vendors.  Parking in areas other than the designated unloading area or parking lots may result in ticketing by the Campus or Newark City Police.

Vendors are asked to park in the parking lot across University Drive from the Reese Center.  Vendor vehicle parking pass should be displayed in the vehicle window at all times.  Trailers may be parked overnight in the parking lot across University Drive at the Vendor’s own risk.
