WE ARE LOOKING FOR TALENTED ARTISIANS TO TEACH FIBER ARTS CLASSES!

We need YOU!  If you are a talented fiber artist who loves to share your skill with others, we'd love to have you teach at MOFF!

Teacher Information

Teachers will rent the use of the classroom from the Mid-Ohio Fiber Fair (MOFF) at the rate of $25 per class. Payment for classroom rental will be deducted from the total amount of students’ fees before issuing the fees collected check to the teacher. Fee checks will be issued the day of the class.

MOFF will handle student registration for classes and collect tuition fees unless prior arrangements have been made by the teacher with MOFF. Teachers have the option of designating their class(es) as "open" and accepting walk-in students in addition to preregistered students. Tuition and all class fees for walk-ins will be collected by the teacher. Prices for class tuition are set by the individual teacher. Fees for supplies are to be collected by the teacher at the time of the class.

Classrooms are set up with 2x8 foot tables and chairs and will seat approximately 15 students. Tables can be removed if open floor space is needed.

No water access is available in the classrooms. Water may be used in the classrooms with caution. Teachers are responsible for any damage to the classroom and its furnishings, including computer equipment, which may occur during their class.

Nothing is to be taped, screwed, nailed, or otherwise attached to the walls, furniture, or other fixtures in the classroom.

No selling of goods in the classroom other than supplies needed for the class being taught is allowed.

Classes that have less than the minimum acceptable number of enrolled students, as determined by the teacher, two weeks before the fair will be cancelled and the students’ fees returned to them unless the teacher desires otherwise.

Please include a short bio and class description, along with a student materials and prerequisite skills list, suitable to be posted on the website, with your application.
